Vettius Valens, the grumpy astrologer who knew almost all there was to be known about the known astrology of his time, made special mention of not beginning anything when the moon is near the “bendings” of the nodes.
If a planet squares or conjuncts the whole signs of the lunar nodes matters will not go well if this time is used to begin a matter.
Valens mentioned in his works, his own experiance when he commenced a journey through the desert using such an electional time and almost died.He lost his camel which did not survive and learned the hard way, never to do this.
Modern astrologers know none of such matters.
