The Cold Reading – Why I Invented The Phrase And Why They Were Specifically Loved By Millennials in New York City
When I arrived in New York I wanted a way to showcase my ability to read four astrologies at a master level. I was confident of my abilities because I stood on the shoulders of the great astrologers whose rules I had beta-tested; subsequently, I created what is dubbed the ”cold reading”.
This is a reading in which I tell the client to tell me only their birth date, to-the-minute time, and exact location of their birth, but without any personal details of their life at all. Not a single one!
My readings are generated by reading the traditional charts I generated solely from their birth data.
This was and continues to be a big hit with the skeptical “millennials”, particularly those who were horribly unable to pick a career to devote their lives to. When I used my expertise to find what they were gifted at, they were thrilled because I found from just their charts what made them unique — this gave them confidence to focus on it. Most common feedback was that I “changed their lives”, and all thanked me profusely.
